A look into my visual artworks

In my practice I use tactile processes such as printmaking, drawing, and ceramicswhich generate free and unexpected results. I value haptic creativity and embrace the powers of chance and accident, seeking to understand rather than control the materiality of a medium. The images I make are often ephemeral in quality, and I attempt to highlight the artist’s hand. I investigate the concepts of value, beauty and truth, but believe these can be subverted to challenge conventional notions. Making and experimenting as physical research holds equal weight in my practice to philosophy and reading.
